Twitter Delitter allows you to import your Twitter feed archive so you can search, filter, and delete tweets. Because Twitter Delitter imported your feed it doesn't require live, realtime access to a Twitter account, so all results are immediate and there is no need to wait for hours for all of your tweets to be streamed before you can begin. Tweet deletion is done using a queue, so you can freely add tweets that you no-longer want to the queue and, when ready, tell Twitter Delitter to begin the process of removing them from your live feed. The process is automatic so you don't need to be present once it has started.
