MediaJobCrossing is the media professional's centralized source for career information. It is the one place professionals can go to see every available job opportunity and find the latest industry insights and news. A. Harrison Barnes, the founder and CEO of EmploymentCrossing, noticed a major flaw in the job-search industry early on in his career. As an attorney, he saw that there was no one centralized source where legal professionals could go to find a position. His career goal then became to find attorneys jobs. He started doing this with BCG Attorney Search, a legal recruiting firm, and continued his efforts with Legal Authority, a service that provides legal professionals with access to every legal employer in a specific area. But Barnes also wanted to create a service that was affordable and accessible to everyone in the industry. And so, he started LawCrossing, an affordable job database and centralized source of job listings from every imaginable outlet, including newspapers, company websites, and other industry job boards. When LawCrossing proved successful, Barnes expanded to other industries, including media. The aim of MediaJobCrossing is to find workers in the industry jobs and provide them with information to advance their careers.
