Secure your email messages, attachments and files with CDX ESafeFile. ESafeFile creates encrypted, pas word protected self-extracting files. With ESafeFile sensitive information can be transferred safely and securely via email or the internet using CDXWebSpace. ESafeFile does not require your recipient to install special software or download encryption keys from the internet. Everything needed is included in the file itself. On a daily basis information, sometimes sensitive information, is being exchanged by a variety of methods such as: (1) Accessing files using shared LAN servers. (2) Placing data on a floppy disk or portable drive. (3) Transmitting data across a network. (4) Transmitting data across the internet. ESafeFile can protect multiple files at a time and can even encrypt entire folders in a single step. Files can be selected using the explorer window in the product, a browse function, drag and drop or by right clicking on the files to be secured before starting ESafeFile. ESafeFile not only protects your file but it lets you maintain a list of contacts and store a unique password and email address for each. The product will automatically create emails addressed to your contact with the encrypted file attached for Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express and most other programs. Large files that can't normally be emailed can now be transferred automatically to a CDXWebspace password protected site.
